Michael Jenkins is one of Australia’s foremost television and film directors and script producers. As a director he has pushed the boundaries of edgy, contemporary filmmaking like no one has. Michael recently produced and directed a 4 hour mini-series, Blue Murder: Killer Cop for Channel 7 which received rave reviews. His filmography contains many of Australia’s most-awarded and ground-breaking television projects. Among them are Scales of Justice, Heartbreak High, The Dirtwater Dynasty, The Leaving of Liverpool, Wildside and the multi-award winning Blue Murder. Michael’s feature credits include the comedy film Emerald City, written by David Williamson, Sweet Talker, a family picture starring Bryan Brown and Karen Allen, and The Heartbreak Kid with Alex Dimitriades and Claudia Karvan. Among his screenplay credit is the great classic Australian film Careful He Might Hear You.
