Jane Baker is an artist who works within the fields of art, music and science and their synthesis. She is an advocate for those with dementia, and her multidisciplinary research and practice over the past 9 years focuses on the inner world of dementia, and the difficulties faced by people with dementia living in the aged care facility environment. Highlights of her practice include: Echo Part 1: A Neurological Soundscape (2013); ANAT Synapse Art/Science Residency – Macrosounds of Microscapes (2014); Vivid Ideas (2014); Artist in Residence – Wicking Dementia Research Education Centre (2014 -2016), and her current work, The Art of Ageing – A Social Artistry Work.
